Prematurity Support Groups
www.nicu101.com
A web support group called nicu101 can help you find news on whats
happening in the world of prematurity. The web site offers support
forums, articles and products. As a parent to a new preemie this is
exactly where you will find people that understand how you feel. You
can build new friendships and it always helps to know that there are
people just like you sharing the same experience that the Nicu can
bring.
www.specialparent.org
A web support group whose main goal is to give parents of special needs children a place to come to for support.
www.Prematurity.org is a great
source of information. It has been one of the leaders in getting
information out to parents in need of answers. Unfortunately, they no
longer have a forum group, but they still have quality information on
their site for infants and older preemies.
The March of Dimes has a complete support website from helping parents understand pregnancy to helping in the fight against prematurity, the MOD has a complete website dedicated to helping parents of premature infants along with a community forum that you can register and talk to other parents experiencing the same things as you.
You can access their home page at www.marchofdimes.com
